Evil MCU/DCEU Simulator Review!(TheBoys)(Spoiler free kinda)

Have you ever wondered how Marvel and DC heroes will be if they were owned by a massive corporation that advertises them and markets them as products, therefore monetizing the whole superhero thing and turning it into a full blown business? What if they had brand deals and contracts with other people? What if they penetrate every kind of product that you see in your local market? What if these heroes were selected through some-kind of auditioning process to work with the main heroes? But most importantly, what if these heroes were corrupt and arrogant and all they cared about were their brand, their deals and their position without actually caring about the people? Is this massive corporation even healthy for the people? Are all the superheroes just some act? What messy and evil deals is this corporation doing behind the people's back and will the people accept the fact that these superheroes that these people worship as gods are actually the worst of the worst?Well this is 'The Boys' for you, a show that asks questions your normal superhero movies will never dare to ask!

The Theme
To be honest, THE BOYS advertises itself as some kind of superhero show and even though it does have superheroes, it is not really bothered about heroes saving the day.Infact this show is pretty much a social commentary on corporations and mostly Hollywood culture and our reaction to it.It really shows the dark side of the private corporate industry and in its own hilarious way shows how aggressively products are advertised to people and how the people are manipulated into accepting these products regardless of their needs. The happy and positive image of the heroes that are showed to the people are clear representation of the celebrity status in real life and the show wastes no time to make fun of the fact that we are supposed to blindly 'love' a celebrity and be obsessed by him/her and through it makes fun of all the the mob mentality problems of social media. It really focuses on the fact that how people are blinded by these heroes that they worship day and night. It was really tragic to see the characters who were very fascinated by these heroes finally realising that these heroes and their corporations are not exactly what they always thought they were and that everything was about the money in the end and not saving people. The treatment of the employees specially the heroes that are actually decent is also something that show sheds some light on and it really seems like a direct attack towards Hollywood in a way. The most fascinating thing about the show was the monopolistic nature of the heroes as there was nothing standing against them and they had no competition which helped to improve the stakes by ten fold.It does not shy on its visuals at all with gore and nudity(maybe a little too much) present throughout the series along with really good VFX and it is clearly aimed at a very mature audience. The way it parodies superhero movies and shows and makes fun of them is really hilarious to watch.

The Characters
I really love when shows actually pay their full attention on character development. All the characters from the heroes to the villains are all very well developed and fun to watch and their relationship buildup is very beautifully done.We get emotionally attached to everyone by the end which is a prove how well made the show is.In the end, this show's Superman known as Homelander is the best character and way more effective than actual superman and the actor Antony Starr is so charismatic and it is a joy to watch him.Other characters in budget Justice League include Queen Maeve(Dominique McElligott) who is a redhead version of Wonder Woman, A-Train(Jessie T. Usher) a speedsters who is black and slower than The Flash but still more effective lol, The Deep(Chace Crawford) who is basically poor mans Aquaman,Translucent(Alex Hassell) who is basically invisible man,Black Noir who is a ninja version of Batman and Starlight(Erin Moriarty)who is the most honest hero in the team and all of them together make The Seven(I still call them bootleg Justice League).
The group of people that the show really focuses on are called 'The Boys' who are a bunch of vigilantes who are trying to expose the heroes and the dynamic between them is so interesting to watch.I will not talk about them  too much though.See for yourself.

Conclusion
The Boys is a unique and fresh entry into a genre that is overcrowded and is filled with the same old hero vs villain stuff. It takes a very different approach and focuses on characters and social commentary and is very effective at doing that.It is a perfect example of Satire done right as it ridicules the flaws of a corporate society in its own humorous and ironic way.

Final score-9/10
